Founder and Steering Team Member, Alianza Hispana, Spartanburg. Alianza Spartanburg is a social impact network dedicated to facilitating, encouraging, and promoting the inclusion of Hispanic/Latinx community members in improving quality of life in Spartanburg County. We meet the second Friday of each month from noon-1 pm, hosted at the locations of our collaborators. Board Member, United Way of the Piedmont, 2021-23. The mission of UWP is “mission is to connect, engage and inspire people to transform our community.” 

Board Member, EMERGE Family Therapy and Teaching Clinic, 2020-present. The EMERGE mission is to train therapists; provide quality, affordable care; and strengthen the community.

Non-Trustee Program Committee Member, Mary Black Foundation, Spartanburg, 2019-present. The foundation is a major local grant-making entity that advances the work of wellness, health, and health equity in Spartanburg.

Member, Spartanburg Initiative for Racial Equity Now collective, 2020-present. SIREN is a grassroots collective dedicated to furthering work for racial equity in Spartanburg.

Recipient of Wofford’s Currie B. Spivey Award for exemplary volunteerism, 2014.
