Prof. Kay is co-coordinator of Wofford’s Medical Humanities Program, and formerly Chair of the Philosophy Department. His courses include BioMedical Ethics, Science & Religion, History and Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Religion, and History and Philosophy of Medicine. A past president of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy, Prof. Kay is also a member of the Ethics Committee of Spartanburg Regional Medical Centers, the Bioethics Committee of the South Carolina Medical Association., and the board of the SC Healthcare Ethics Network.
