Begoña Caballero completed her B.A. at Universidad de Extremadura in 1998.  In 1996, she received the scholarship “Erasmus” and she studied at University of Ulster, Great Britain, where she obtained a Diploma of Higher Education.  In 1997, Dr. Caballero was awarded with a scholarship to study and become a language assistant at Kalamazoo College, Michigan.  She earned a M.A. in Spanish from Western Michigan University.  From 2000-2006, she attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her Ph.D. in Spanish Literature.
